Today, I got home early to prepare dinner for the debates and I get a email – Wayne – call me ASAP. So my stomach dropped and a lump in my throat. I was told that a great guy and friend in the footwear industry DIED on Sunday night. Unbelievable.
Why? What can I say. I have allot of emotions about this and need to compose my thoughts better but I do not know Why or understand it. Similar to my brothers death – WHY?
I asked our marketing team to put up a note on the front page to do something to let the world know how cool of a guy Michael was and how I valued his friendship. I saw it within the hour of asking and was shaken when I saw it. Michael – thank you for being a great inspiration and friend in my life. You are missed!

I am so sorry for the loss of your dear friend and I feel your pain deeply. It is always hard to understand why our loved ones are taken from us at such a young age but all we can do is keep the FAITH! Just remember him as the man he is, the man he was and the man he will always be in your heart!
My prayers are with you and his family!
